Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is a service designed to enable our customers to communicate business data electronically. Its efficiency has made it a condition of doing business in dozens of industries, including retail, grocery, warehousing, transportation (rail, ship, and trucking), health care, education, real estate, and government.
Any standard business document one company would find itself exchanging for another (such as a purchase order, invoice, shipping schedule, inventory inquiry, and claim submission) can be exchanged via EDI between two parties or trading partners.
Reduced expenses. Speed. Time spent communicating with suppliers is dramatically decreased. Elimination of wasteful paper documents. Elimination of labor-intensive tasks such as data entry. Greater accuracy of information. Reduced postage costs.
Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
We are excited to offer the state-of-the-art Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) system to our high-volume customers. VMI is a service designed to streamline the purchasing process. As increasing responsibilities are placed upon purchasing departments, time is becoming an even more valuable resource.
Hanna's VMI program can free up valuable time with automated ordering for your tubular inventory requirements by integrating the production, ordering, and delivery processes by programming your purchase historical data and projected sales records into one system. VMI tracks your tubing sales and requirements, and then automatically places orders to replenish your inventories.
Advanced shipping notices, purchase order information, and test report data are electronically transmitted to your system in order to alert you of shipments.
Hanna provides full service deliveries by truck, rail, ocean vessel, and barge.
Hanna provides extensive online services for checking inventory, ordering, obtaining material test reports, order status, shipment history and rolling schedules.
